Recent Developments: Previously I had updated my supporters that the victim was taken back to her oppressors after she had escaped to look for help. Recently, the victims oppressors had taken her to the police station by force so that she can drop the charges against them. What's worse was that not only did they force her to drop the chargers against them but they had managed to turn the case against the victim which ultimately means that if she ever had to report them again for her grievances, she would be the one to get arrested instead. Furtheremore, they are currently investigating her in the aims to make a possible arrest although she is just a victim. This means that any form of communciation that we had with her is in jeopardy because she used a social media platform as a way to get in contact with the outside world WITHOUT the knowledge of her perpertrators. Since Saudi Arabia is known for its conservative views, she would be as good as being dead if they had to find out that foreign help was involved as this would be seen as a "shame" At the moment this is not something that I and many other private individuals wanted to hear neither did we want to achieve. As a person who created this petition, I had made a promise to the victim that I will help her gain her freedom back. I want to give up but I know that it would be cruel of me to do so and not only that but it would say alot about my character more than anything else. It fustrates me that so many people and organisations are turning a blind eye to this case. I shudder at the amount of women who are probably stuck in the same predicament as the victim but were treated the exact same way. I read news headlines of Saudi Arabian restrictions, laws and potential reforms that do nothing but oppress and enslave the vulnerable. It is a shame that even police enforcement have the audacity to cuff innocent hands that wanted to be held and cherished by freedom. It is even more of a pity to see young women craving to be deaths best friend. But how can anyone blame them? The grave offers more companionship than humanity could ever achieve. Thank you to all our supporters, we really do appreciate you and even though it may seem like we are losing a battle, we will surely win the war if we just keep trying.
