Haringey Council tell us they're keen to do right by Parkland Walk

Haringey Council has agreed to meet us to go through their plans in more detail - and talk with their contractors about the trees under threat.

They have also responded positively to the idea that the bridge design should be green.  And have emphasised their commitment to preserving and funding the Parkland Walk.

We look forward to meeting them: in the meantime continued support for this petition will strengthen our case and demonstrate how important this issue is to the community.  Please continue to sign and share.
 
The council also asked us to amend some elements of our petition which they believe to be inaccurate – we have done so in good faith.
