Over 12,000 civilians in Gaza, Palestine have now been killed by Israel’s indiscriminate attack and blockade of Gaza, of which 70 percent killed are women and children. The infrastructure in Gaza, including health care facilities, schools, refugee camps, religious facilities have been obliterated. Human rights organisations including the WHO, Save the children, The Red Crescent are repeatedly crying out to the international community to call for an immediate ceasefire. The United Nations has stated on the 2nd November 2023 that the Palestinians in Gaza are at grave risk of mass ethnic cleansing, and are also repeatedly crying out for the international community to call for a ceasefire, see link below. Labour MP, Zarah Sultana has courageously taken the moral leadership, which Sir Keir Starmer has failed to show, and tabled an amendment to the King’s Speech, which will pass a motion in which all MPs in the UK will vote for, against or abstain with relation to establishing an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. This will take place on Wednesday 15th November.

Please click on the link below. It takes 2-3 minutes. By filling in a few quick details this will send a letter to your MP urging for them to vote in support for the ceasefire motion. The deadline for this is tomorrow, Tuesday 14th November, as the motion will be voted on Wednesday 15th November.
