Approve USDA to WCSD land transfer for Arrowcreek Middle School.

The Issue

Please approve the federal land grant allowing WCSD to procure the approximately 60 acres of land from the US Forest Service that is adjacent to the intersection of Thomas Creek and Arrowcreek parkways.  This procurement would be for ~10 dollars an acre, for a total of ~600 dollars, and would be for educational use only.  This procurement would allow WCSD to begin the process of determining the feasibility of building an educational facility on this site; which would be one step in the right direction of reducing school overcrowding in the city of Reno.
