We, the people of the Tolsia community are tired of being harassed by Principal Reva Wallace.

The events that took place during the live stream at the football game on Friday night is just scratching the surface of how power hungry this woman is.

She has allegedly harassed her teachers and staff to the point that people have left for other schools. These are teachers who are born and raised in our community and want to be here. They should be able to teach in the community they love without constant harassment from a power hungry principal. 

She has allegedly threatened students (football players) with breaking and entering for trying to use the weight room after school. She has allegedly insinuated a former basketball player is a thief for him using the gym outside of school hours. This is a kid who is currently playing Division 1 basketball on a full scholarship and trying to workout when he is home. He came late at night, he came at 5:00 am, he did everything he could to make it work. She not only harassed and threatened him, she allegedly made them do an audit on the basketball locker room which is insinuating this young man is a thief. This young man grew up in our community and has been using that gym long before this woman ever became principal at Tolsia. He is not only a great kid, but a respected member of our community. To harass him for trying to better himself is ridiculous. 

Recently, she committed what I believe is a FERPA/HIPAA Violation by sharing private medical information about students in front of the entire school. She held an assembly in the gym with the entire student body and all of the faculty. During this assembly she called out students by name and told them they had to go home because they were not vaccinated. This is not acceptable nor professional.

Ladies and gentleman, we have dealt with this for way to long. It's time for us to take a stand and make it known that the entire Tolsia community demands a change. Tolsia used to be the place where people felt at home, but the alleged harassment of teachers, students, staff, and community members has ruined our community.  

I hope you will stand with us by signing this petition and making your voice heard. This petition will be delivered to the Wayne County Board of Education as well as Superintendent Mr. Alexander.
