This morning the county board voted 22 to 1 to adopt the Finance Committee amendment to the budget that will keep Wanaki open in 2020. While the question of 2021 and beyond is not secured we will continue to fight for a long-term solution to the operation of the golf course.

The amendment calls for the county pursue leasing or selling the course. If that fails, they can sell it as park land and then for development after the 2020 golf season. We cannot let the last two options happen.

Please call or email the Supervisors thanking them for today's vote and asking them to please consider any future actions to keep Wanaki open past next year.
