Please sign this petition to STOP THE DEER HUNT in Watchung. The overpopulation that we had 10 years ago is under control and the number of deer in Watchung is way down. We feel the hunt is inhumane, unnecessary and dangerous in our small suburban town. Let's let the Mayor and Council know that we will not stand by every year while animals are killed in our neighborhoods.The need for a hunt should be evaluated annually, and the duration of 76 days should be shortened if there is a hunt.
