Infertility should be recognized as a treatable condition like any other illness.  Currently there is no insurance coverage mandated for family building when it doesn’t come naturally.  Our families in Washington state  need a financial requirement/commitment from insurance companies to assist in the cost of infertility treatment.  1in 8 men and women are affected with infertility.  Most of them without insurance benefits to assist in the cost ranging from 15-30k per treatment.  Please ask your state legislators to require all insurance companies in Washington state coverage on treatment options for the illness of infertility.
