This is a statement of community support for Living Arts Cultural Heritage, a project of the 501(c)3 organization, New Life Community Development.

Living Arts Cultural Heritage engages community in reconciliation and healing through cultural arts and traditions, interactive programs, and education to uncover hidden history of African Americans, Indigenous Peoples, and others of Kitsap County and the Pacific Northwest.

LACH is ready to grow into its own building, to provide a vibrant space in Bremerton where Kitsap County and regional community can gather in celebration, education, and reconciliation. When you sign this statement of community support, you express your belief in the need for such a space and your support for this development!

This statement of support will be sent to various community, civic, and governmental leaders, such as Washington State Historical Society, Washington Senators and Representatives, Washington State Legislature, Kitsap County Commissioners, and City Councils and Mayors of Bremerton, Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, and Port Orchard, as a means of sharing with these leaders the community’s vision.
