We have attracted some international interest people. Half of our goal is already complete. This is not meant to be a fanboy attack. It is meant to be a review of the reviewer. This man does a video game review , he reviews the game Uncharted 4. He starts by saying: ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ review: This four-part series should have ended after Part One'. He immediatly shows how biased the review is going to be, by jsut not liking the previous games. Another point is that after some terrible game launches that included technical issues that made games unplayable , people really want to know about the technical state of a game. It is a part of the review. In his review , Mr. Thomsen never mentions any technical parts or any gameplay mechanics. Ok the story and the characters can be subjective. But if a game works or not , opens or not IS NOT SUBJECTIVE. If it runs at a stable framerate IS NOT SUBJECTIVE. Its as objective as it gets. That's why thsi is not a game review. That's why we want it deleted from metascore. Not deleted from the site. This guy can express his opinion. And know i want to quote what Troy Baker stated when he signed the petition.( I know that he got critised about his and i don't want to hurt his position , but i jsut agreed totaly with what he said , and he expresses the purpose of this petiton perfectly). Mr. Baker said:
"Performance bonuses, promotions and even jobs are frequently dependent on a game's metacritic score, often with a single point being the determine factor between success and failure. The 1st amendment provides freedom of speech, not freedom from responsibility and journalistic integrity. A "review" is not a writers platform of catharsis nor a vehicle to "up their subscribers". These scores have real impact on real people. To behave in such a deplorably cavalier manner is reprehensible and deserves to be erased. We expect more, Washington Post, so should you."
Why developers should be judge by someone who does not know how to review a video game? Mr. Thomsen can express his opinion but when he writes an official review , he should follow some rules.
This is all from me , thanks for the support and Peace out!.
PS: The know made an amazing report on this petition and i will provide a link.(They explored both sides of this case as objectively as they could.)
