You state that a police officers job is to protect and serve yet the only thing that we’ve been seeing is them killing us every day. It doesn’t matter if he had a weapon no one should be killed by a police officer. He just turned 18 and now that’s the highest achievement that he was able to reach. We are black 24/7 and yet an officer puts on their uniform for 7-8 hours and suddenly becomes invincible. There have been numerous black lives lost just this year because of your department’s incompetence to listen to the people. We want for you to reform your police department and rebuild it from the ground up. I have no more tears left to cry the cops that get away with murdering my brothers and sisters took them all I’m no longer sad I’m angry because yet again the possibility of one of my family members receiving justice is little to none.
