The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are using Washington County law enforcement personnel and resources to detain people, frequently without a warrant, in order to take them into Federal custody and deport them without due process. This puts families at risk of being broken up, creates distrust of local law enforcement, strains the local economy, and undermines Northwest Arkansas' efforts to create a welcoming and diverse community. 

We the Undersigned demand the following: Withdraw immediately from any agreement that allows the unjust practice of detaining people without legal representation, without warrant, and without redress, to be taken into custody by immigration officials. This includes ICE detainers, 287(g), MOA, SCOM, and other measures which have been called unconstitutional.
