We've been Capitals season ticket holders for the past four seasons, all of which were in the Standing Room Only section. As the annual STH renewals went out this week, we learned that not only were the Capitals doing away with all SRO sections, but we'd have to move. For anyone that's had the opportunity to hang out with us in SRO, you know that we've got some of the best "seats" in the house. After speaking at length with our ticket representatives, we were told that the SRO sections were being done away with and replaced with, well, nothing. 

We realize that, first and foremost, Mr. Leonsis is a businessman and that the moves they're taking are, supposedly, to better the business that is the Washington Capitals. However, we hope that this petition can convince Mr. Leonsis and the organization that we, the fans, make the team and that making money off a numbered box is better than not making any money at all off the space. 

Rather than have our beloved section reduced to nothing, we implore Mr. Leonsis and the rest of the Capitals organization to reinstate SRO and allow us to watch our beloved Capitals from the best spots in the house.
