Attending climate change talks at Warwick and doing research has confirmed what I already felt - Warwick campus is TOO hot! The temperature of a room doesn't need to be above 19 degrees, but often, the library, the learning grid, halls and classrooms far exceed this - often we have to open windows in library because it's too warm. This is ridiculous. It's a huge waste of money, but more importantly, energy. If Warwick made a conscious effort to lower the heating on campus, not only would this massively reduce the carbon footprint of the university but would also have financial benefits. Let's put pressure on the people at the top to make this happen!
