Petition updateWarwick RI: Protect Open Space & Rocky Point Gateway No High Density Housing on Palmer!

3 Days Left and Our friendly little log reindeer has disappeared

Our friendly little log reindeer has disappeared from the property right next to 445 Palmer Avenue in Warwick. He was a handmade, rustic reindeer made of branches and logs — standing guard, bringing smiles to people walking by, and quietly watching over this special gateway spot near Rocky Point State Park, and informing people of the Warwick Planning Board Public Meeting June 10th 6pm 65 Centerville road.

Someone took him sometime in the last two days. (last seen Friday night) If you see Little Buck, or know where he is, please help bring him home. He’s more than just a decoration — he’s become a little symbol of the neighborhood and everything we’re trying to protect here: the mature woods, wetlands, wildlife habitat, and the beautiful entrance to our state park.

We're fighting hard to stop the 14-unit development at 445 Palmer that would clear these trees and harm the park gateway. Stealing Little Buck won’t stop us, but I'd sure love to have the little guy back. Please share and keep an eye out!  933 Signers I need to start tomorrow to download the list and comments,  Warwick residents please leave a comment, those will be downloaded too.
