Thanks to a great show of public support for the tennis courts the council agreed with the club's request to re-test the surfaces and establish the true condition once and for all. The results were released today and unfortunately three courts failed the required slip test standard and two more courts were very much borderline. This is bad news for the club and is likely to mean restrictions will be put in place for when the courts can be used. However the results clearly illustrate just how urgently the courts need to be resurfaced, which the club has been requesting since 2014. We are now waiting for the council's response to the official results and hope that postive action will be taken with some urgency. Thanks for your continued support!
