The Issue
The development on Rushgreen Rd replacing the old petrol station was described and sold to residents as an upmarket supermarket and that the client wanted to remain anonymous until a later stage. The applicant it would appear is Netto - not a high end supermarket as promised by the council. The council should now release full plans into the public domain and reconsider the Netto store and replace with an alternative high end supermarket as originally promised to the residents of Lymm!
It should reconsult more openly with the residents of Lymm and applicants should not be kept anonymous.
