My dream is to become a film director one day. Christopher Nolan has inspired me to become a film director. The Dark Knight trilogy was a masterpiece. I just witnessed one of the worst superhero movies of all time last night. It was called Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder. I loved some of Snyder's previous work, 300 and Watchmen. I didn't love Man of Steel, I just enjoyed it and saw all the potential it had. There is no excuse for how bad Batman V Superman turned out to be. We can only blame one person: Zack Snyder. The man is no story-teller, he just puts in the movie whatever he thinks is "cool" Watch any interview with the man and you can see how he speaks like an adolescent. He isn't able to get the audiences emotionally attached to his characters. He simply can't tell a story. Batman V Superman was disgusting, a bunch of random scenes put together. No cohesiveness, nothing adds up. It's a bunch of random crap put together in a random order. Some of the worst editing I've ever seen as well. I'm a huge DC fan and Batman is my favorite superhero. The fans simply cannot allow this man to ruin the Justice League. Snyder has missed twice so far, Man of Steel and now this. I actually enjoyed Man of Steel, but there are no excuses for Batman V Superman, how it turned out to be. My very first thought walking out the movie was wondering why did they need a delay?! This clearly was a huge pile of trash, one of the worst superhero movies ever. It is insulting and quite embarrassing too. When I love a movie, I'd go back and rewatch it two or three times. I've only seen this pile of crap once and that will be it. I'm not sure if I even want to buy the blu-ray because of the 30 minutes extended cut. The first hour was unbelievably boring, to be completely honest, I was bored throughout the entire film! And this is a movie about Batman V Superman for crying out loud! What went wrong?! How could have this happened?! I ask that you guys remove Zack Snyder from the director's chair, he has no place there. Zack Snyder should be a cinematographer, nothing more. I am truly saddened by the experience I had last night. I have never been this bummed out before before and after watching a movie. There are so many problems with the movie, it isn't even funny. Please Warner Bros. fire Zack Snyder, bring in George Miller or someone else. Hell, call me! I guarantee you I can deliver a far superior film than Zack Snyder. I KNOW I could've made a better movie than Batman V Superman. Seeing a movie like this makes me not want to accomplish my dreams of becoming a film director. Thank you Zack Snyder for delivering one of the worst superhero movies of all time. It's time you move on from the DCU.
