As we all know the theatrical version of Suicide Squad is the result of a butchery.

After the success of Deadpool and the bad reviews of Batman v Superman, Warner Bros ordered reshoot for Suicide Squad and asked to "Trailer Park" (the company which edited the official trailer of Suicide Squad, released the 19th of January) to make another cut of the film, more light and fun. And that's why the theatrical version looks like an advertising and the montage is so much chaotic.

Now the goal of this petition is to bring us a proper version of Suicide Squad, closer to the original cut of David Ayer and here's are three major change that must be done for the DVD release.

At first, approximately 45 minutes of the movie have been cut including the dr. Harleen Quinzel chasing the Joker on a bike (noticeable in the trailer), Killer Croc origins story, Captain Boomerang dialogues and lots of others scene. These scenes are essential to the comprehension of the characters and would make them way more deep than just some group of bad guys.

Secondly, we need the Ayer cut with the original footage (some can be seen in the Comic Con teaser) and not the studio cut which include the useless reshoots of "Trailer Park" and highlights the characters of Will Smith and Margot Robbie putting aside the others characters like Killer Croc and Katana.        

Finally, we want the first montage of the movie with the scenes in the right order, for example: in the original version when Harley get on the Chopper the Joker push her in order to kill her. But in the theatrical cut the scene where the chopper is shot is put before the Joker push Harley so it makes him care about her which is disrespectful from the comics and the animated serie.

Don't hesitate to share this petition or to talk about this original cut, we hope someone in charge of the movie will do something about it and bring the change this movie need to be more faithful to the original idea.
