Dear CleanAppers, Thank you for your incredible showing of support. We started our petition just three weeks ago with a simple idea - that we should be able to send hazard/trash reports directly via Google. We want Google's 2 billion mobile users to easily & securely do CleanApp. This will give us real-time GLOBAL trash maps and allow us to get data we can act on. So, how's this supposed to work? Contrary to our name, we're not just proposing a traditional standalone app. Instead, we want #CleanApp functionality built in to Android, into iOS, into Amazon, and other operating systems, allowing everyone to submit CleanApp reports anywhere & at all time. In this way, it's better to think of CleanApp like an open-source standard (think Bluetooth, WiFi), rather than a self-contained app. We believe people want to CleanApp from their smartphones/smartglasses/smartwatches and will do so if it's easy and fast. With your support, we are bringing a cleaner & safer future closer. But we still have a lot of work ahead of us to get Google's attention. We know we can do it, and Belinda Bradley's petition to GoogleMaps to create wheelchair friendly routes is proof that if we stay at it, we'll get the results we need. We can't do it without your outreach, however. That's why we're asking you to please forward this petition to your supporters and networks and ask people to join our call. We all see trash/hazards we want to report on a daily basis. With Google's CleanApp integration, we'll have the ability to do this on a global scale, opening up a whole world of possibilities.
