You've made preserving the 56 acres of farmland, gardens, and open space owned by UMass in Waltham a priority, and in four days, so have 2500 other citizens of the Commonwealth.
According to Sunday's Boston Globe, 3400 students enter UMass Amherst each year. Please take a moment to help us reach 3400 signers of this petition by sharing (or re-sharing) this petition with others. Please ask them not only to sign, but to share the news of this important effort with others as well.
The tenants of the farm--and the city councillors who have created a resolution to support them--need a clear mandate from us that their efforts to get UMass and the City of Waltham to do the right thing, are supported.
Thank you for your continued support for this effort.
