The problem is not with David Benioff and DB Weiss directing, but their creative choices that they have and lack of effort when it comes to wrapping up a coherent story. I think that they have proven that they are not competent to make a good story, both singular movies(The Wolverine Origins), and now shows(Game of Thrones). With Star Wars being at an all time low, I think it would be wise for Disney and LucasFilm to let them go. They rushed through Game of Thrones so they could go on to filming Star Wars, and it shows. George RR Martin has openly stated that HBO did offer him up to 12 seasons and D&D refused to do it. This petition is being submitted to prove a point, that it is in companies best interest to hire the proper people for a job, and continue to develop creative properties in ways that respect the fans while creating new ones. A person who takes on large projects, such as Game of Thrones, should be held accountable. If they grow tired of doing the work, they shouldn't be allowed to cut it short, they should not have been allowed to be the only people allowed to develop the project, and shove stuff out simply to meet a deadline. Companies and directors need to respect fans, and put their heart into these sort of projects, not provide amazing content for a short while, only to erase that by growing tired of creating something, and shoving out stuff with only half their original effort. Consistency matters, and this doesn't go for just Disney, but any other company that have creative properties people hold close to them.
