"We never want to offend anyone with the products that we offer," said Walmart spokesman Brian Nick about the removal of the Confederate flag. Well if we're taking out offensive material from Walmart based on hatred and violence, let's deal with something much worse than something that represents just a part of one nation. I've seen that Christian cross plenty enough at Walmart and wondering why now it hasn't been removed either. It OFFENDS me and many others that I know. That is a REAL symbol of hate and violence. Christianity has caused more wars and deaths than anything else in history, that's just fact. But a shooter that kills a handful of people gets a flag banned. Yes, it was tragic what happened, both in the Civil War and the victims of that racist's violence; yet, it is NOTHING compared to everything that cross has wrought upon our world. It is a MUCH more violent and hateful past. It not only offends, but it disgusts.

If you say the Christian cross represents love, okay, well the Confederate flag represented independence (and I'm a northerner, so I really don't care). Now that your argument is invalid, I'm just refining this request down to the violence and hate aspect of Walmart's decisions to ban certain things.

Please join me in removing the Christian cross from Walmart to PROMOTE EQUALITY in not being offended by that which offends.
