Justin Kucera, an AP World History Teacher & Varsity Baseball Coach, who is loved by many students and parents in the community recently got fired for exercising his 1st amendment rights during non-work hours. Mr. Kucera didn't let his political views influence how he taught his class.

Mr. Kucera didn't force his political views upon students and the Walled Lake Consolidated School District is clearly prohibiting Mr. Kucera's right to free speech.

Mr. Kucera, since his hiring a few years ago, has been the glue the holds Walled Lake Western together.  Everyone mutually respects him and his relentless work ethic.  He can be found going to all the atheletic events, coaching JV basketball, along with Varsity baseball.  In the classroom, he stays after school until late grading papers, tests, and helping struggling students.  Mr. Kucera cares about our kids, families, and our communities.  For this reason, we believe that Mr. Kucera should be given his job back as a teacher, coach, and influential leader at Walled Lake Western Highschool.
