WESTBARD GIANT - Round Three - BOYCOTT - Nov. 1st - Nov. 15th

Dear Friends:

Apparently, they can't hear us.  Neither Giant nor Regency care about a pre-set loyal customer base and our request for expanded parking at the new center.

Therefore, in November, we will extend the boycott to TWO WEEKS - from November 1st through November 15th.  Some shoppers have already abandoned Giant completely - it's your choice! 

Regency's "modified" plans (filed October 9th) did not improve retail parking at the site.  Expect LESS parking than is currently available at the Sumner Safeway - while, at the same time, residential SF of development will increase by 1500% (which means more cars, more friends and visitors of the new tenants, more contractors, more shoppers, more, more, more).

So, LESS, LESS, LESS parking and MORE, MORE, MORE cars and people on Westbard Avenue.

Alternative shopping sites include: 

Whole Foods (download the Amazon Whole Foods app and start saving), Sumner Safeway, Downtown Bethesda Safeway, Target, Downtown Bethesda Harris Teeter, Downtown Bethesda Giant, Trader Joe's, online (Amazon Market Pantry).
