Opal fare surge is an IPARTheid

The new system is penalising students, commuters, families, travelers, pensioners and everyone else. Can someone be transparent and tell us how much the Government of NSW (taxpayers) paid the IPART for the review of the Opal system? We are entitled to know it. The IPART recommended the new fare surge, ticketing scheme, elimination of the free trips, etc. Who is the IPART? Have you ever heard about it? If the IPART is an Independent Tribunal, why it is hosted by the NSW Service building near Central Station ( 2-24 Rawson Pl, Sydney)? The NSW Service is used by Transport for NSW. Isn't it a conflict of interest? Why they decided to eliminate completely the monthly and yearly passes? From $1632 per year using the old yearly MyMulti scheme to $3900 per year using the Opal card without an option for monthly and yearly passes. Is this a fair recommendation? Can they tell us the name of their consultants? Do they use public transport? Or are they simply ignorant to the comparison between how everything used to work, and how it works now?
