Everyone have a right to practice the faith of their choice, be agnostic, be atheist, .. as per the Indian constitution.

The funding for  mission work that the church undertake is invariably linked to the ability of the mission to convert asmany non Christians to Christianity(Evangelism).

So, those heading such mission projects invariably have their hands tied and must risk their own limb and life to further Christianity. Sometimes, even those of their close family members(example: 1. Australian missionary, Mr Graham Stewart Staines, and his two sons, Philip- 9 year old, and Timothy- 6 year old. 2.American missionary Mr J A Chau at North Sentinel Island ).

Additionally, nobody insist and succeed on conversion to our faith more than Catholics in general and Syro Malabar Catholics in particular, during intercaste marriages. 

Some progressive and tolerant ideas on the above front are long overdue.
