All talks but no action. Waive requirements for Ukrainian Visa.

There are many articles and news about the United State's plan to take in refugee's but so far nothing is being done about it (that can actually benefit the victims of the war). They are saying that the people of Ukraine prefer to stay in neighboring countries to stay closer to their home but they are not listening to pleas of the Ukrainian people. They are asking for refugee status in the United States. If they want to stay in neighboring countries just to stay close to home, would they ask for asylum or refugee status in the United States? The government is willing to accept refugee entrance across the borders and let them stay in the country and provide assistance to them. But why can't we sponsor or petition our family to come to the United States even though we have the means to support them.

It seems that the government is all talks but no actions.

We are all stressed and worried that our families are living in shelters and someone else's home not knowing what tomorrow would bring for them.
