Huge thanks to all of you who’ve signed the petition so far. Numbers are growing every day.

You can help us further by coming along to the Waipara Pavilion next Thursday June 20th at 7.30pm. At this Glenmark Community Committee meeting, Save Waipara Valley will be making a presentation asking the Committee to listen to the community and learn about the impact the solar plant would have on our region. The presentation will include key facts about the proposal & the developers, including the further information recently provided to the Council.

One of the Committee’s key roles is to represent and act as an advocate for the interests of the community, and this meeting is an opportunity to ask them to do just that. Please join us to show the Committee that we care about our community and the impact this development would have.

We will also be providing up-to-date fact-sheets about the proposal, and a guide to what steps you can take.
