WRC stood down the Whitianga Harbour-Master for his involvement in rescuing an Orca trapped in a cray pot off the Coromandel Peninsula. We, community members of the Mercury Bay area, are appalled at WRC's actions and demand that WRC start becoming more attuned and responsive to the community, and issue an apology to Mat Collicot for their actions.
