As many in the Greenville area know, on December 5th, 2018, Joshua Daniel Burgess tragically passed away in a car accident. Burgess was a Senior football player at Wade Hampton High School. Josh was known as being a motivator, hard worker, and always having a smile on his face. We as the students of Wade Hampton believe that Wade Hampton Stadium should be renamed to commemorate the legacy of Josh Burgess.
