Tonight-6:00pm-VUSD May Vote on Classical not going back-Urgent

CLASSIC Parents-Write-Attend tonight-6:00pm-Critical potential vote tonight-Contact your School board trustees today, attend the board meeting tonight in person or online, if you are concerned about schools not reopening on Tuesday. Middle and High Schools are the most at risk for not opening. They are considering reversing their agreement for classical students even though we have met all guidelines outlined since the MOU was signed in August (class sizes for classical students were the same Sept. 8th as they are now and it was very clear the district could not hire a slew of teachers to take on half the classical students once we were back).

Many teachers want students back in school and are working hard to make this work. There is no official baseline outlined by the union or the School Board for what's acceptable now if we don't go back. There's no money coming to our district and vaccines will not be mandated. Where is the endpoint for this if they reverse their decision now?

You must be on Zoom with your name correct on the Zoom screen to read or have your card read.
