We at the Stirling Observer are calling on the Vue cinema at Forthside, Stirling, to scrap its pricing policy which is disadvantaging Stirling film-goers. We had a huge response to our story highlighting the fact that people in the city are paying up to £7 more a ticket than those visiting the chain’s cinemas in Aberdeen, Hamilton, Livingston and Inverness. And prices at the Vue’s cinemas in Edinburgh and Glasgow are also cheaper. The Vue say the differences reflect a “dynamic pricing policy” but we say it’s a rip-off. We are calling on the Vue to cut the prices in Stirling so they are in line with their other outlets. Feel free to sign our petition if you agree.
