Community gardens are not in neighborhoods for a reason

These pictures are from the other community garden in Newton. Beyond pests, traffic, congestion on a very small street. 60% of the time community gardens look like this. That is why they are located in non residential areas - so people can express themselves freely. What now is nice grass with no flooding or puddles will be replaced by gravel, weeds, and fences. Not to mention tools, trash. NONE of the friends of the garden will see this from their homes. NONE of them live in this street/neighborhood,. The cost and rules of upkeep are still not defined. What happens when fundraising and volunteerism doesn't happen and there are  issues in the garden - who will pay for it  - the city? They do a horrible job at the current garden. No raking leaves, flooding -trash broken fencing - what will they do here at this location - will it be any different? Please vote  help relocate this garden or use funding for benches and small beds no FENCES and gravel
