As families spend time together today, it’s a reminder that keeping our kids safe on their daily trips to and from school must remain a priority.

A “safe” score on paper doesn’t always reflect what students face on the ground. Routes long considered hazardous are now being labeled “safe” to walk - justifying the removal of bus access - even as roads get busier, visibility remains limited, and terrain like hills hasn’t changed.

We’re asking for a transparent review, correction of documented errors, and restoration of routes identified as hazardous.
