As promised this is an update of tonight's meeting. Tonight, we needed 6 votes and we got 5. There are 11 council members total and we were missing (Julie Eiselt, Mayor Jennifer Roberts and Greg Phipps). Votes to deny the petition were Kenny Smith, Dimple Ajmera, Patsy Kinsey, Vi Lyles and Al Austin. As a result, the vote has been deferred until Monday 3/27/17 at 6:30 PM 600 East 4th Street Meeting Chambers. We are going to need your support now more than ever in this last week to contact City Council Members and attend the meeting. More information to follow.
