Dear supporters,

ACA-5 will be sent to the Senate Standing Committee on Appropriations for next public hearing on 06/23/20 Tuesday 9am .

You can help the following action items:

1. Contact senators to voice your opposition to ACA5

a.) Call six senators listed in the end[3]. They may be persuaded to vote no ACA5.

b) If you have not done so, please submit your opposition letters (sample [2]) to the senators:

2. Donate to San Diego Asian Americans for Equality to prepare a lawsuit challenging the wording of ACA-5 in the upcoming election in November:

While we fight each step of the legislative process, it is time to prepare the worst: ballot campaign, due to approaching deadlines for hiring lawyers. Nine organizations (SVCA, AACE, TOCF, CACAOC, AIB2B,HQH,CCCCA, and TVAA, SDAAFE) have joined the force to call for this donation across the entire nation.
