Dear supporters,
Good morning!
We hope everyone is well and safe. Thank you for lending your voice through your signatures.
The Special Seats Bill is one of the many bills being considered by the NASS of Nigeria- as the legislative arm is reviewing, altering and amending parts of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
While our core focus is the Special Seats Bill, the constitution has to be carefully and diligently aligned to ensure the overall implementation of the bills it seeks to pass. SSB is one of the bills.
As we work behind the scenes to evaluate core implementation bridges, we encourage our supporters and volunteers to keep focus resolute and unwavering as we look to the NASS in this very crucial task of Constitution Reviews.
We are sustaining momentum on our advocacy for the increase in inclusive representation in leadership and we are in spaces, having conversations, advocating and engaging with law makers, leaders, opinion makers and citizens to keep our pulse on and to support with covering the blind spots through information sharing, clarifying understanding and managing communication that need addressing.
While it’s almost disheartening to have the date for voting delayed, we look to this as a good indication that the process is being followed through diligently to ensure a successful transition for us all.
We keep our advocacy drive in motion. Look out for our knowledge sharing sessions as we push till we pass.
We have our survey open, please complete here to enable us ascertain the level of knowledge on the Special Seats Bill.
