Thank you to everyone who has signed this petition. We have been working to get our story heard by the government. At present, we are awaiting the judgement of a Federal Court case involving Mr L (he has asked not to be named at this point in time). Mr L was an Australian citizen with both of his parents being naturalized Australian citizens at the time of his birth. Regardless, his citizenship was revoked and his passport was taken from him. For two years he has been fighting his for rights while separated from his family who are overseas. The outcome of this case will set a precedent for what we’re fighting for.
