WHAT NEXT FOR BUSHFIELD FOLLOWING CABINET'S DECISION

The Bushfield Concept Masterplan was discussed at Cabinet earlier this week.

Local councillors were joined by residents, stakeholder & community groups in raising collective concerns which included:

• Scale of the proposal, feasibility & impact on the local & wider area
• Sustainability claims
• The nature & quality of stakeholder & public engagement - how this has/has not informed the concept masterplan & what is to come
• The introduction of a new process (Concept Masterplan Governance) to handle this proposal, approved as the Agenda Item preceding The Bushfield Concept Masterplan

Cabinet have approved the Concept Masterplan. Developers are now working on their planning application.
