Dear Families,

Unfortunately, Maplewood Secondary School did not receive the occupancy permit to open tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17th. The occupancy inspection found outstanding deficiencies which we expect to be resolved very shortly.

All students (grades 7-9) will continue to learn from home asynchronously (independent work will be provided by the teacher). As well, teachers will set virtual office hours to respond to students’ questions and support their learning. More details will be shared by the school.

We will be monitoring the progress daily and will provide an update tomorrow by 3:00 p.m. 

We ask for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate these construction delays.
