The proposed plan for the Route 29 and Route 33 intersection includes tearing down the Country Store Antique Mall on the corner of Route 33 East and Route 29 North. This is a  historical building in the county, a business which pays taxes, and a Greene County landmark. Tearing down the historical landmark in an effort to widen Route 33 seems out of character for what we want as a county. People come from all around to shop in those stores and we urge you to reconsider. There is a dilapidated property right across the road that you could tear down in order to widen Route 33.
