Please help me get to 5,000 signatures and more by sharing this petition and encouraging everyone you know to sign this. It’s really important we get Virgin to be held accountable for their actions and I think getting lots of people to sign this petition will help make this happen.
Here is the link to my petition in order to share it:

I am not going to let this issue drop, you might have seen that today, I was featured on BBC Midlands today to talk about my interview. It felt really good to bring attention to my petition. The fact that the BBC have been in contact, shows how controversial this issue is and that it is going to affect lots of people.
If anyone in the Midlands who travels often with Virgin and is affected by the railcard fare increases, doesn't mind doing an interview with BBC radio Coventry & Warwickshire tomorrow morning (it won't be live and can be done over the phone) please contact Philip Churm on 07808738374 or call 02476 539222. Likewise BBC North West have also been in contact with me and asking if I know anyone who is affected by this railcard policy, whether it be commuting to work or you use any of the other railcards affected (Disabled Persons or Senior railcards etc) and need to travel with Virgin for various reasons. If anyone from the North West is affected and they would like to get in contact with them, please contact @ArifBBC on twitter.
Yesterday my MP responded to my letter by telling me he is taking my case to the Executive Co-Chairman of Virgin Trains. This is really encouraging news and I urge everyone of you to do the same and write to your MP. This is why gaining numbers on my petition is so important as it highlights to Virgin just how many people are opposed to their policy. If lots of MPs write to Virgin and the company is aware that there is a petition gaining lots of support and media attention, I really do believe this will put lots of pressure on Virgin to reconsider their railcard policy.
For anyone who hasn’t seen my blog post regarding Virgin’s new policy can do so here: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/georgia-may/virgin-trains-peak-times-railcard_b_8051018.html
Thank you so much to everyone who has signed. Please keep up the good work.
