What the Vic Gov aren't advertising about violent crime is shocking!

It seems many people are complacent when it comes to crime if it does'nt affect the them but chances are that many of us will be either become a victim of crime, especially violent crime or someone close to us will. What the Vic Gov crow about tell you is the exponential rise in violent crime in this state.   Since 2011 there has been a whopping increase of 62.67% the 'Crimes against the person' category, or Violent Crime in other words up to the latest stats published by the Victoria Crimes Stats Agency June 2020.  And no, this is not because of population increase as the stats are calculated per 100,000 people.   We believe this is because of the leniency of the courts through weak sentencing and the failure of Victoria Police Command to be accountable for combating violent crime.  We fully support the men and women in the rank and file of Victoria Police but we call on the Chief Commissoner and other senior officers to implement stragegies and practices to come down HARD on violent crime.
