Campaign update from Reopen Our Schools

Dear All Please see below, an invitation from the Department of Education and Training in regard to the school provisioning review in Banyule. Invitation: Community Workshop for School Provision The Department of Education and Training is currently reviewing school provision in Banyule. A workshop is being held to ask local people for feedback on the review’s approach and help develop a rigorous process for determining school provision needs, as well as share information and explore local issues and perspectives. As a member of the local community, we would like to invite you to participate in the workshop. The review is expected to cover the suburbs of Ivanhoe, Ivanhoe East, Heidelberg, Heidelberg West, Rosanna, McLeod and Bellfield. The opportunity to refine the review area will be provided during the workshop. This project is delivering on the State Government’s election commitment to undertake a school provision review for postcodes 3081 and 3079. When: 6pm - 8pm, Tuesday 27 October 2015 Location: The Centre Ivanhoe, 275 Upper Heidelberg Rd, Ivanhoe Anyone wishing to attend the event should register through Eventbrite link below. Those who have registered will be given priority in the event the venue reaches capacity.
