Firstly thank you for supporting by signing the petition.

I am writing to update you all on the progress of Road Safety issue for Haven Estate, Tarneit

In month of December 2019, many residents from Haven contacted me in regard to the issues for kids crossing and difficulty for residents to go other side of the Leakes road to use the facilities like Childcares, Schools and Community centres.

After speaking and discussing with residents of Haven, I started an online petition to raise this issue, I also created a video to highlight the issue and also parallel to petitions and video, I emailed Department of Transport, Wyndham Council, Councillors, Vic roads and local MPS, in December too.

I have been constantly updating the progress and all steps I have been taking on my Facebook page and through messages to the residents who meet me.

As not all residents would be on my Facebook, I thought to update you all here too.

More than 40 emails have been exchanged until now and various calls to all levels of Government and Council staff.

Result of this work is that Council has started the investigation and couple of surveys have been done on this road but due to Covid19 the progress is slow, I am constantly following up with council team.

I will not stop advocating on this issue until we have received appropriate solution, I will keep updating you all as I receive more details.
