A speed camera that takes a picture of a speeding motorist, who then continues down the road and kills someone, has achieved nothing but raising revenue.
A speeding motorist, who is pulled over by a police officer, will slow down.

A red light camera at one intersection will not stop motorists running a red light at an intersection that doesn't have a camera. We have all noticed a big increase in the number of motorists who run red lights when they know they won't be photographed.
What, then, have red light cameras achieved ?

Let's get back to real law enforcement. The people of Victoria want OUR government to stop revenue raising under the guise of "Law Enforcement" !
