Just an update on my husband's (Tom's on-line) petition. As of today: 1246 signed it, 642 signed with promotions, 19,145 viewed it, 649 shared it, 11 paid promoted it, 10 the highest strength sharing it more, $351.00 was contributed to it, and 15,120 purchased views to the petition, 48% (619) are from Promotion signatures, 3% (44) are from Facebook signatures, 39% (501) are signatures from Change.org email, and another 8% (98) anonymous; this is just in a 14 month period. Supporters have stopped signing and only viewing the petition, this won't get the message across to make changes for Veterans and their families.  PLEASE CONTINUE TO SIGN THIS PETITION and show the holiday spirit continues to thrive.

This is a summary of everything in Review 2025:

Ø  "Nova Scotia Premier and MLAs have been made aware that this issue existed in our hospitals from the beginning (April 4, 2024 – September 23, 2025), and they refuse to communicate/remedy this issue on behalf of the Veteran’s Spouse and guarantee that it will never happen to anyone again; especially to Veterans.  The Canadian Charter of Rights guarantees every Canadian citizen their last rights to chose what is best for our own lives pertaining to “home vs. hospital.”  A month after my Veteran husband died, my MLA for Preston (Twila Grosse) told me to my face, “What happened to my husband in the hospital WAS NOT IMPORTANT.”  Her assistant Katherine Brooks called me 3 days later (April 22, 2024), to tell me that the MLA was going to call me to apologize for being rude to me. I am still waiting for that phone call 19 months later.

Ø  Sent written detailed communications of the whole ordeal to 3 Law Firms, every MLA in Nova Scotia, all 3 Provincial party leaders in Nova Scotia, all 3 Federal party leaders in Ottawa, Canada, Several MPs (Member of Parliament) in Canada, all the Senators representing Nova Scotia, 3 Major News outfits (CTV, CBC, Global) in Nova Scotia and their head offices in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 

Ø  The petition was sent to Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston on January 14, 2025, and on January 17, 2025 Premier Tim Houston told me in person that he would look into it and I haven't heard a word from his office since. After speaking with him in person on the street on January 17, 2025; he still has not kept his word to looking into it and never contacted me about it.  August 28, 2025, delivered a copy of the on-line petition to Premier Tim Houston in person.  Also, a copy was delivered to leaders of NS NDP and NS Liberal Caucus offices.  Premier Tim Houston said in his Election victory speech that he was there for Veterans and he heard them, yet he fails to do contact me about what happened to my Veteran husband in the hospital.

Ø  March 25, 2025, I delivered the complete information package of my late husband's hospital ordeal that caused his loss of life, to the College of Physicians & Surgeons on Nova Scotia at 2:00 pm at the from desk.  March 28, 2025 Just an update on my husband's (Tom's on-line) petition. On March 25, 2025 at 2 pm, I finally dropped the second part of a formal complaint against the hospital, doctors, and nurses of the Dartmouth General Hospital with the "COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS & SURGEONS OF NOVA SCOTIA.  

Ø  August 29, 2025, I delivered the petition package to all 3 Provincial Government Offices in Nova Scotia .  I was met by office worker (James Mitchener) that were rude and either laughed or mocked me for wearing my late husband's Military medals on the right side of my jacket.  I got 3 signatures accepting the envelopes, Premier Tim Houston's P.C. office, Claudia Chender's NDP office, Derek Mombourquette's Liberal office..

Ø  October 11, 2025, Dr. D. A. (Gus) Grant, Registrar/C.E.O of the NOVA SCOTIA COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS & SURGEONS WERE BIASED IN THEIR COMPLAINT DECISION AND HAVE CALLED ME A LIAR REGARDING MY COMPLAINT AGAINST Dr. Pierre Landry, Dr. Jason Yung, Dr. Daniel Liwski.  I have requested a review of that decision and it is now in the hands of an INDEPENDENT REVIEW COMMITTEE (IRC), Mr. Douglas Lloy (Public Member/Chair), Dr. Colin Newman, and Dr. Rebekah Zee.  They also have agreed with bias and prejudice towards me and my Veteran husband that doctors can end a life by overdose and not be held accountable for it.  Nurse Joan Shand also lied to protect these doctors.  Karma will have its day!

Ø  October 21, 2025, I delivered a letter with my request demands one more time to Sean Fraser, Federal MP ( Minister of Justice of Canada) is ignoring the issue also and refusing to meet with me, and is showing his lack of respect for Veterans.  

Ø  October 24, 2025, Nova Scotia MLA - Twila Grosse and her assistant Katherine Brooks filed a false complaint against me and I received a visit by the R.C.M.P. in a tactic to STOP ME FROM TELLING THE TRUTH OF WHAT SHE SAID ABOUT MY NAVY VETERAN HUSBAND (1 MONTH) AFTER HE PASSED AWAY IN THE HOSPITAL.  A TOTAL ABUSE OF POWER.
 
Ø  October 25, 2025, I have began the process of doing live chats regarding what the happened in the hospital to my husband, Thomas A. Hogan.  Anyone having any questions for me and/or wishes to share their own hospital horrible trauma, share it with me for everyone to hear at: "For Tom's Sake" on Facebook.
 

I encourage everyone to keep sharing this petition and get more people to sign it also.  I am including below, the names, emails, and phone numbers of all 3 Provincial Government Leaders in Nova Scotia, Canada; should anyone feel like voicing your opinion directly to these government leaders to address this petition and give me the "One-on-One" meeting that I have been asking for since my late husband lost his life in the Dartmouth General Hospital.  I thank everyone that has supported the petition and my cause for what happened to my husband.  I really need final closure, which the Nova Scotia Provincial Government has refused to give me.  This fight for Veterans isn’t over.  God Bless Everyone.
