Just an update on my husband's (Tom's on-line) petition. As of today: 1082 signed it, 641 signed with promotions, 18,136 viewed it, 540 shared it, 10 paid promoted it, 10 the highest strength sharing it more, $355.00 was contributed to it, and 15,075 purchased views to the petition, 55% (618) are from Promotion signatures, 3% (33) are from Facebook signatures, 34% (383) are signatures from Change.org email, and another 6% (70) anonymous; this is just in a 10 month period. The petition was sent to Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston on January 14, 2025, and on January 17, 2025 Premier Tim Houston told me in person that he would look into it and I haven't heard a word from his office since. After speaking with him in person on the street on January 17, 2025; he still has not kept his word to looking into it and never contacted me about it. August 28, 2025, delivered a copy of the on-line petition to Premier Tim Houston in person. Also, a copy was delivered to leaders of NS NDP and NS Liberal Caucus offices. Premier Tim Houston said in his Election victory speech that he was there for Veterans and he heard them, yet he fails to do contact me about what happened to my Veteran husband in the hospital. Let's see just how much he cares about our Veterans. Today, August 29, 2025, I delivered the petition package to all 3 Provincial Government Offices in Nova Scotia between 1pm - 1:30pm. I was met by office workers that were rude and either laughed or mocked me for wearing my late husband's Military medals on the right side of my jacket. I got 3 signatures accepting the envelopes, Premier Tim Houston's P.C. office (James Mitchener) - he was rude and mocked me in front of the Commissionaire Security. Claudia Chender's NDP office (Grace) - she looked at me with no clue what Military Medals looked like. Derek Mombourquette's Liberal office (Chris Abraham) recognized Military Medals; but, the young lady that was with him kept covering her mouth not to show she was trying to laugh at me. I voiced my opinion to her that it was very rude for her to do that; being that my visit was regarding a Veteran losing his life in our hospital due to the lack of proper health care by the professionals that don't know what they are doing and/or just don't care about the patients. This made me sick and angry to my stomach that government workers think this way about Veterans and those of us that fight for Veterans. I encourage everyone to keep sharing this petition and get more people to sign it also. I am encluding below, the names, emails, and phone numbers of all 3 Provincial Government Leaders in Nova Scotia, Canada; should anyone feel like voicing your opinion directly to these government leaders to address this petition and give me the "One-on-One" meeting that I have been asking for since my late husband lost his life in the Dartmouth General Hospital. I thank everyone that has supported the petition and my cause for what happened to my husband. I really need final closure, which the Nova Scotia Provincial Government have refused to give me.
