To Be Clear: New Law or Constitutional Amendment?

1) Currently our Vermont Reps are working to pass H. 57 as a new law and citizens won’t get a vote. But there is a public hearing Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the State House, Montpelier. Citizens are encouraged to speak on this issue. (For more info see earlier posts about the hearing) 

2) In the future they may work to add this abortion bill as an amendment to our state constitution. Stripping rights from the unborn. Thankfully an amendment would have to be approved by Vermont citizens before that is final!
